Tucson's River of Words
a showcase of artwork and poetry created by youth about the watershed and
environment of the southwest. The natural world as seen through the eyes
of its children is heartening, humbling, fresh, often life-affirming, and
sometimes disturbing.

Cultural
Corridors of Pima County Guidebook with companion
CD
This 114 page cultural tourism guidebook takes
travelers off-the-beaten-path and into the hinterlands
of Pima County, Arizona, to explore some of the
area's most unique communities and attractions.
The book divides the county into Western and Southern
corridors stretching from Tucson to the Cabeza
Prieta National Wildlife Refuge and from the Old
Pueblo to the Mexican border. Along the way, stories
are told by ranchers and miners, a Pascua Yaqui
poet and a Tohono O'odham elder, and Old Time
Fiddlers including the Southwest's most popular
banjo pickin' folklorist, Jim Griffith.
